My Priorities
1. I am a Lieutenant Colonel currently serving as an Air Force Instructor at Westside High School. Following 33 years of dedicated service, I retired from the Florida Air National Guard. Recently, I was appointed to the YMCA Advisory Board, presenting an opportunity to contribute resources for the advancement of my community. My leadership experience includes serving as Chair of the TRUE Commission Committee, which provides advisory recommendations to the Jacksonville Council and Mayor regarding the fiscal budget. Additionally, I have participated in the Mayor’s Military Transitioning Committee. I am a member of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2024 and have completed the Communiversity Course designed to develop effective community leaders.
2. My leadership in the military, community engagement, and collaboration with the Mayor and City Council has earned me the respect of colleagues and community members, driven by my integrity and strong work ethic.
3. My objective is to serve District 10 through active engagement and collaboration with relevant agencies, focusing on issues such as crime prevention and response, infrastructure enhancement, education and youth initiatives, and business development.
4. With comprehensive leadership experience across military, business, and civic sectors, I am prepared to offer the City Council considerable expertise. My skill set includes economic stewardship, effective communication, empathy, and a commitment to servant leadership.
5. I remain dedicated to working on behalf of the community, with immediate effect.
